We are excited to announce that Corey T. Zurbuch will be joining our team of attorneys as counsel to Rountree Losee LLP. Mr. Zurbuch comes to our team with 24 years of experience and will provide seasoned litigation and business law support to Rountree Losee clients with a focus on real estate litigation, commercial law litigation and contracts.

Prior to joining Rountree Losee, Mr. Zurbuch practiced law with the regional corporate firm Spilman, Thomas and Battle, PLLC where he focused on defense of large corporations in complex multi-plaintiff and mass tort cases. He eventually became an equity partner with the firm.

In 2007, Mr. Zurbuch relocated to Aspen, Colorado where he represented homeowners, developers, and contractors in a wide variety of both residential and commercial real estate related matters, including due diligence, purchase and sale contracts, financing agreements, construction contracts and defect litigation, and property owners’ association related matters.

Mr. Zurbuch is a graduate of West Virginia University, College of Law, and is licensed to practice law in three states, including North Carolina, Colorado and West Virginia. Mr. Zurbuch is also Martindale Hubbell AV Rated and has held leadership positions as the Executive Vice President of the Colorado State Bar and Former President of the Pitkin County (Aspen) Bar Association.

In his free time, Mr. Zurbuch is an active member of his church and serves as Secretary for The Zurbuch Foundation. Mr. Zurbuch is also a published fiction writer and is the author of “The Five-Fifty-Seven,” a story of a class action defense attorney struggling with the moral and emotional dilemmas created by his complex law practice.

Mr. Zurbuch says that he enjoys being a resource for his clients not only for the legal issues at hand, but for other major life events and business matters. We look forward to Mr. Zurbuch’s service and employing his vast experience as a litigator to better serve Rountree Losee LLP clients.
