Pardis Camarda

Ms. Camarda is a litigator with a focus on admiralty and insurance coverage law. She routinely litigates third-party personal injury and property damage claims and complex maritime claims including first-party insurance coverage issues, financial disputes in the commercial fishing industry, storm claims concerning yachts, recreational boats, and personal property such as piers and marinas.  Ms. Camarda also advises insurers on coverage matters, including domestic and international shipping and maritime issues and defends both insurers and owners in marine salvage claims.

Before joining Rountree Losee, Ms. Camarda spent several years practicing admiralty and maritime law in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Prior to her move to North Carolina, she was an attorney at a captive counsel office for an insurer in New York, where she defended clients in civil litigation matters arising out of motor vehicle accidents.  She began her legal career litigating residential real estate matters at a firm in New York City.

Ms. Camarda is admitted to practice law in North Carolina state and federal trial courts and New York state courts. She attended St. John’s University School of Law on a merit-based St. Thomas Moore Scholarship and graduated as part of the first class of the Pro Bono Scholars Program.  She dedicated her time at law school to the Consumer Justice for the Elderly: Litigation Program, where she represented low-income elderly clients in consumer litigation matters.  She received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in Political Science and Sociology and minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Stony Brook University.

Ms. Camarda is a passionate litigator who is dedicated to zealously representing her clients’ interests in all aspects of litigation.
